Hello! I am Maryann, founder of award winning baking business – Missy M Sweets. I’m a foodie at heart and just love to bake for my family and friends. I find baking very therapeutic and a way to channel my creativity. I had been a stay-at-home mum for 6 years caring for my son. When he went off to school full time I was at a turning point in my life. I asked myself “What is my passion and what job would I choose that brings me joy?” Instantly my heart spoke to me “it’s baking”. I found the “Global Sisters” community and joined. They gave me the support I needed to turn my business idea into a sustainable work from home business.
So I started baking and sold cookies and brownies to my fellow school mums. I started to build my online presence and customer orders started coming in. I went a step further finding local businesses whom I could partner with to sell my products.
My customers told me once they tasted my baked goods they were hooked. I think it’s the freshness and decadence of our sweets that keeps our loyal customers singing our praises and coming back for more!
